Dreamtime is a shortened version of the full scale show, A Tale from the Dreamtime , which runs for 20 – 30 minutes and is ideal for family audiences. It can be performed 3 times a day and has the option of being performed in front of an inflatable stage set.

 

In the magical dream world of fantasy, where anything is possible, the surreal is real and reality is somewhat curved. Watch in delight as you see different toys come to life in this playful circus show.

Dreamtime opens with a cheeky Jester perched on a trapeze bar high above the audience, holding the strings of a Marionette puppet on the ground, which he gleefully manipulates until finally she gains control and breaks free. Follow their power struggles and playful games enacted through mime, acrobatics and stunning double trapeze. Then the music tempo increases and five Playing cards march onto the stage, interact with the Puppet and Jester, before beginning to build pyramids and towers, three cards high before tumbling down, reshuffling and rebuilding again. A performance of skill and comedy.

As the cards march off, the Puppet and Jester bring on a large wrapped musical box out of which pops a Ballerina doll who climbs up the aerial silks, dancing effortlessly, pirouetting, performing beautiful contortions and dramatic drops. As her aerial dance ends, all the toys take part in a final playful interaction before the clock strikes and the show ends.

A mesmerising combination of mime, dance, acrobatics, trapeze and aerial silks with an upbeat musical score creates the beautiful Dreamtime.
